Here we are. 5 months in. You FAFO. Now, we all are on the verge of losing Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the economy, your “superior” democracy, and our sanity.
I’m trying to wrap my brain around how y’all stood up on your hind legs and voted for this. I’m sorry, but that lie about “he’s a businessman” is something you can save for people who haven’t grown up in this country–like your new Afrikaner refugee friends.
You voted for this brand because you wanted the product–keeping your White power even as the demographics of the country and the world change, even if, earth, our life support system is destroyed. You bought the brand because it represents fucking up people like me and anyone not White like you. I see you. Fuck you.
Now I have to think about whether it is worth it to me to stay in this country under this neo-fascist regime you support. I have to decide if I want to support this country you’re trying to turn into the “mouth of a shark” with my tax dollars and labor. This is not an easy decision. I was born here. I have family here. As I weigh options, I’m reminded of the poem Home by Warsan Shire
